Ladies & Gents:
Well, dear readers. I have been ramping up to a March 22 release of Running: A Love Story and then…Amazon had other plans. Anyone who pre-ordered the book through the site has gotten it already. Some of you have already read it. So while I'm still doing the official "launch" on March 22, it's already out there. Hence having a glass of champagne on Friday night even though I've just about cut out booze in the run up to the New Jersey Marathon, which I'm running on May 1. Because you have to live a little, right?
If you've read the book and want to review/give it stars on Amazon, Goodreads or your book site of choice, I would be grateful (no matter what you thought of it). Some people are also tweeting/instagramming photos of the book with their pets. I encourage this 100%.
Want to win a copy? One of my favorite websites is helping me give away three copies. Even if you don't want to enter, check out the comments. They're a scream (and I'm not saying that in a sarcastic way. They're really funny). Contest closes tonight!
Two races coming up! On Saturday, I'll be at the Adrenaline 5k in Haddonfield and then the Ocean Drive 10 Miler on Sunday in Cape May. This will be the ninth year in a row that I'm running the 10 miler. Ninth! I feel old now.
I hope to announce the spring book tour soon. Two dates are already out: the launch party on March 22 in Haddonfield, N.J. (which is a public event) and March 31 at Philadelphia Runner in, well, Philadelphia.
One newsletter note: Since the book is now quasi out and I am very fortunate that it has generated some media interest, I'm adding a "Jen Promotes Her Book" section to the newsletter. I know, it's gotten longer, but I'm still trying to keep things brief. So let's get on with it.

What I'm Reading
I'm still on My American Duchess by Eloisa James. It's a great read but I'm so tired that I have been reading less at night. I've also haven't been really working on my cross stitch (I KNOW), but I expected that to happen. I ran 53 miles a week last week. I'm sleepy.
What I'm Watching
I get myself to work on my taxes by promising to not watch House of Cards unless I'm doing them. So I'm TK episodes in. When I'm not on that, I flip back to Doc Martin. Going from Macbeth and Lady Macbeth set in Washington, D.C. to cantankerous doctor in English seaside is quite a flip. But I march on.
