Hello from beautiful Cape May, N.J. Last weekend was my first weekend since December when I didn't have any obligations or choose (because moving: yikes). So I did just about nothing except watch movies and Netflix and work on my cross stitch, and went for a run of course. Saturday was the best day I've had since my dog died. Sunday was pretty good too — and sunny! So I got my vitamin D.
I'm still terribly sad, but I feel like I'm starting to turn a corner, which is a very good thing.
A few people have asked me if I'm staying down here for the summer. No. I don't want to work when it's so nice out. I would much rather be sitting on a bench outside right now drinking coffee and listening to the ocean than working. Also, it's expensive then. Also also: shoobies.
I do know what I'm doing this summer, but I want to finalize my plans a bit more before sharing. So stay tuned!

What I'm Reading
I finished Extreme You by Sarah Robb O'Hagan, which is work reading so I'll save what I thought for that. I'm back to reading F*ck Feelings, which I'd started then put down for another work book, after which it was packed away and, well, you know — see that story above (which ran on the cover of the real estate section, a first for me!) I found the book again this weekend and would like to finish it before either reading a book about camping or diving into another Outlander. Outlander books are EVENTS because they are so long, but I enjoy them.
What I'm Watching
Parks & Rec! I'm watching it from the beginning, and given how much sewing I did this weekend: I watched a lot. It is such a delight. I will be sad when it's over. I also watched two movies: Kiss me Kate and Anchors Aweigh. TCM on Demand is my best friend down here.
