Ladies & Gents:
How was everyone’s Fourth? Mine was exhausting, but because of my own devices. I kicked things on at midnight on Friday with a showing of Mad Max: Road Warrior at a movie theater in Philadelphia (proceeded with a mega dinner at Tortilla Press in Collingswood and a viewing of the original Mad Max via Amazon). Then I slept for three hours, then got up to run the Haddon Heights Firecracker 5k. Me and my friend both finished third in our age groups, and my mom finished second in hers. Go team! Then I napped and ate and watched fireworks with my neighbors from the Collingswood PATCO parking lot. Not glamorous, but close and free. I closed the weekend out with the USA vs. Japan game (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!). And here I am now, rushing to put a lot of work to bed before I leave for Canada next week.
I have a few more links than usual this week, though most of my time has been occupied by corporate work that about five people will read. Not complaining of course. That’s what keeps the lights on and the dog in fancy kibble.

What I’m Reading: I’m still working through Kermit Roosevelt’s Allegiance, which will be out on July 28. I also picked up a few travel books for my trip, which are being post-it noted and highlighted with gusto.
What I’m watching: Aside from the Mad Max-aganza, I wrapped up Grace & Frankie, then started the sixth season of White Collar.
