Ladies & Gents:
After last week's silliness, I don't have too much to offer in terms of LOLz. I know I haven't shared the usuals in a while, so let's jump right in, shall we? (also I'm sweaty and gross after my HOOOOOMID run and really want to take a shower).
"The top 5 supply chain management vendors" for CIO.com
"The race before the race" for The New York Times If you follow me on social media, you know I had an awful day and had to drop out at mile 9. As I told the police officer who helped me get back to my car – who told me I looked fine – "If I keep going, I won't be." One good thing about having been a runner this long is knowing your limits. Looking forward to the cooler weather ahead.
"Is a BQ really a BQ anymore?" for The New York Times
What I'm Reading
I finally finished 17 Carnations: The Royals, the Nazis and the Biggest Cover-Up in History by Andrew Morton, which I consumed as an audiobook. Egads. I need to watch The Crown again. I'm currently reading Natural Born Heroes by Christopher McDougall. Our reading on Thursday was a HOOT. Here's what he said on twitter about it: "I was on awe: first time two writers heckled each other during a reading, AND first time I got out F-bombed. You're my hero." Daw.
What I'm Watching
I am trying to stream through 30 Rock before it leaves Netflix on Oct. 1. I don't think I'll make it, but it's been fun to watch as I try.
