I made the change for a basic reason: fees. The previous platform I used is more than doubling their fees starting next week, without offering any additional services. No thank you! It also makes more sense to have my own website as the ebook portal if, for some reason, ConvertKit pulls the same thing (though I have no reason to believe they will).
As of right now, everything else is the same. There is a chance that, in the future, I'll be moving the newsletter over to ConvertKit as well — but that won't change much on your end because I'm dedicated to keeping it free. I started Notes from a Hired Pen on a lark, but it's becoming a bigger thing than I imagined, so bear with me while I figure out how to best manage this growth.
