Thank you to everyone who responded to me writing about my anxiety. It really did help to share, and to hear back. For that I am grateful.
Today and I am sitting at my dining room table, writing this while watching a 10-hour video of train travel to the arctic circle. It's slow TV, which Stephen Thompson of NPR suggested on an episode Pop Culture Happy Hour about soothing things for right now. He was right. It's a train! Just doing train things.
I'm working, almost entirely now on stories related to this, which in a way helps. Working on stuff from the before-time was difficult. This Harvard Business Review piece on us grieving right now wraps up why.
